My stock came in the mail today and I started putting it together around 5:00 and finished around 7:00. The kit went together very well with me being the only real hindrance, I’m pretty particular so I went slow and checked everything several times and I only had to sand two places, the bottom of the stock where it meets the trigger guard in the rear as it was slightly too thick and a light shave on the wood spacer on the upper hand guard. I had to change the spacer shim for the barrel band and that was it. Very very well thought out design, trigger adjustment is easy and straight forward. The balance is better than I thought possible, very nice. I can’t wait for the tri rail bracket and extended mag release to show up so I can finish the rifle off.

If I can make a suggestion a rear sling mount would be a nice addition but Its not a big deal. A year and half wait was worth it, thank you. If you have any plans for making a stock for a 10/22 I’ll buy one… Thanks again!

After almost a year and a half I have in my hands what I have been so eagerly awaiting!  I have not fired it yet, but it went together great!  I had to file a bit here and there, and I highly recommend a Dremel tool for making clean work of some of the adjustments.  The quality of the plastic used is very good, and it is even more clear to me now just how much work went into this project.  Thank you for persevering against the neigh-sayers and thank you even more for such a nice product!  Especially as your first offering.  I will be placing a second order shortly! I look forward to your next offering and I can say that I would pay up front and wait a year and a half again!

Thanks Again,
Richard S.

While I waited for the stock, I got a beautiful trigger job (no creep at all – smoooooth), and replaced the firing pin with a stainless steel spring-loaded pin. I plan to add a 30mm TruGlo, remove the architecture on the barrel and swap flash hiders this weekend, then it’s off to the range!
Oh, this former full-size Yugoslavian is now 3 1/2 inches shorter than my Ruger Mini-14!
Let me know when orders are caught up …  this needs a twin.

I just received my kit in the mail and it was worth the wait. I had to file a little here and there and It definitely took a little bit of time for the first time assembly but once I took it to the range, wow is all I can say. This is a hole new animal. The accuracy is the same but having the weight in your shoulder makes this gun some much easier to carry and fire. I had a couple other SKS users at the range with multiple different after market stocks and they couldn’t believe how much better the gun felt and looked. I have tried 3 other stocks myself and they are all nothing compared to this.
Thank you for a great product at a great price.

I love my new stock set. . .well worth the wait. . .it’s quite the tackdriver now.

Great product. . .I read about the continued delays but don’t give up. . .and someday consider a kit for AKs I’d be willing to wait another year for one of those.

I was one of the customers that believed in your dream to build this amazing stock.  I paid for my stock almost a year before I actually received it and was very patient during the set backs and so forth.  Anyway i really wanted to thank you again and also wanted to share my picture of my SKS I  painted it with a desert camouflage design  and it turned out perfect I just had to send you guys a picture of it.  I am always very proud to show off your bullpup stock to my family friends and at the range.

I called you after a friend and I were able to get your Stock on my rather balky Chinese SKS Carbine about 4 weeks ago.. We had to do a bit of fitting, but after about two hours, and it was together.. I couldn’t get any of the SKS magazines, on hand, to work.. You suggested TAPCO.  I purchased a few, and after another balky start, they all worked.. Today was the first time I was able to try it out.. Loved it, like most Bullpups, rather heavy until you get it into shooting position, and then it seems almost weightless.

Put 40 rounds through it a lot faster than I had planned.. Had slapped a cheap red dot right on the rail (needs a riser), but pretty much right on target… Thought the noise might be serious, but was so excited to try it out, forgot to put on my muffs.. Although it was a bit loud, my ears only buzzed for a few… Glad my fears weren’t realized, especially with my right ear very near the ejection port.. Think the little cover on top of the receiver, helped deflect the blast.. With the muffs it was about the same as shooting a regular stocked SKS, or less.. Easy to shoot, with about an 8# trigger pull. I had been a bit concerned about how the cable trigger pull mechanism was going to work.. Not one hangup, or burp…

Thanks again for making an old SKS a fun rifle to shoot again, for minimal investment..

Keeping me informed as to the trials and tribulations of small company bringing a new product to market, helped pass the year long wait.. I felt like I was tuning in to the SG Works Reality Show every few weeks, that was reality.. Almost everything that could go wrong, seemed to.. You’re not the first to tell pretty much the same story, but you told it well, kept your wits, and pulled it off…

I do have one more question. I was cleaning it up  tonight and realized there is no provision for attaching a sling on the rear of he the new stock. Any suggestions??

Hope you sell a bunch of them, not a better aftermarket SKS stock out there, for anywhere near the investment, if at all..
