2/26/10 Tooling Arrival Date/Phoenix This Weekend

We just got word that the tooling is on the boat and is scheduled to reach Long Beach port March 14, 2010. It typically takes 3 days, sometimes longer, to get through customs. They will then be trucked to our manufacturer. The tooling will have its protective coating removed and then lubed and coated for use.

Once we receive our completed kits, which include all the hardware, as well as the front tri-rail attachment and extended magazine release lever attachment. We will be shipping according to order date. We feel we can process 100 kits a week. We will start with our July orders and make an announcement each time we begin to process a new month’s pre-sale orders. Once we process your order we will email you your tracking number so you can know when to expect your stock kit.

We will see those that live in the area this weekend at the Phoenix Gun Show 2/27-2/28.

Tooling In Customs/Phoenix Gunshow 2/27-2/28

This past Mon. 2/22/10 the tooling was picked up and delivered to port customs. We were told that that take a few days to clear customs. It is our understanding they have ships leaving twice a week. We will pass on any information once we are given news.

Reno This Weekend (2/20-2/21)

We hope to be posting the tooling ship date soon. The New Year in China will be ending this weekend. We expect to hear word first of this week. We will make a news post the moment we get information.

Some have asked where the stock will be manufactured. It will be manufactured here in the United States.

We look forward to seeing some of you at the gun show this weekend at the Reno Convention Center.

Shipping Update/Del Mar Show 2/13-2/14

Some of you may know, we have received our pre-production final samples and they look great. All of the corrections that needed to be made were corrected. We have approved the sample and are waiting for a ship date. This past Monday it was confirmed that all the tooling was crated up and ready to go. Unfortunately, although the traditional Chinese New Year doesn’t begin until February 14th, almost the entire country shut down (including the ports) this past Friday. We’ve been told that the country will resume work Monday the 22nd of this month.

We want to thank you for being patient with our highs and lows with the SKS stock kit. As soon as we’re told that the tooling has shipped, we will let you know. We just put together another video showing accuracy comparisons between a standard SKS and the same SKS mounted in our bullpup stock. Although it is not the end all of accuracy tests, it should give you a general idea of how much accuracy can be expected from our bullpup stock. It is now uploaded to our home page.

We will be at the Del Mar gun show this weekend so if you’re in the area, feel free to stop by our table.

Final Samples On Their Way/Costa Mesa Gun Show

We just got word that our final samples look good and we should get them any day now. We are excited! As soon as we get the samples, and approve them, we will give the OK for the molds to be shipped to the good old USA for manufacturing. We will keep you updated on the progress through our website.

For those of you that are interested, we will be at the Costa Mesa gun show showing our pre-production sample. We would also like to let you know that the customers that pre-purchased will receive their kits before anyone else.

Some have asked why their comments and questions are not showing up on our website. Some of the reasons are we don’t have time to answer the many comments that are posted daily. We set up a FAQ page and suggested that if there are questions you may have that aren’t addressed, then you may email us. We are still working our regular jobs full-time and are using pre-sales only for the production of the stocks. We do not have the funds to hire a full-time moderator to properly respond to misinformation and conjecture.

Regarding Shipping/San Fransisco Cow Palace Show

Four months ago we were given a January ship date by our manufacturer. No one expected the build files to be missing several important details. The corrections for the tooling have been completed. We are presently waiting for the samples showing the corrections. We were to receive them over a week ago. We are expecting them any day now. After we approve the corrections the tooling will be on their way to our molder. We know this is terribly frustrating but we are very close now. We really appreciate your patience and ask that you bear with us just a little longer.

On another note, for those who are interested in dropping by, we will be at the San Fransisco, Cow Palace show this weekend (1-16, and 1-17, 2010).

Ventura Gun Show This Weekend

As a side note, we are still waiting for a ship date from our manufacturer. As soon as we have a hard date, we will make another post.

As you know, we received our 1^st samples from our mold builder, just over a week ago. The final files worked out a couple of issues really well. Going through the samples did reveal there were a couple of prototype changes that somehow did not make it into the final files. Those issues have already been sent back to the manufacturer, and I’m told shouldn’t take long at all to correct.

On another note, we’re doing our best to very soon post another video with one of the real stocks, as well as an installation video.

Also, our store is back open with a purchase button from Gunpal, a company that isn’t all wrapped up in all the PC that goes on these days. We are still dealing with the Paypal issue. In fact, any of you out there who feels compelled to contact Paypal, feel free to contact Stephanie at Executive Escalations executiveoffice@paypal.com , or call 1-402-935-5073. Just let her know that while you appreciate Paypal’s concern for your protection, frankly, you really just prefer the stock. This is just another obstacle for us to get over…

Top portions of bull-pup kit easily removes for cleaning. The barreled action remains securely mounted in the lower portion of the stock.
