I had to make a modification to fit a Chinese SKS I bought in 1995. I had to cut about ¼” off the rounded back tail of the trigger group so it would drop into the square slot at the back of the stock. The original rounded portion at the end would not drop in deep enough. So, every time I moved the trigger safety up to the off position, the leaf spring would pop open. It also required filing the stock retainer guide and replacing the rear barrel support with the extra one provided.
